My Aged Care
Are you wondering if you can get some help with day-to-day tasks around the house?
Maybe you need some respite care while your family or carer is away?
Or perhaps it’s time to look into aged care homes.
What is My Aged Care?
My Aged Care is a national service to help you find out about aged care services. For more information call My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or visit the My Aged Care website.
Regional Assessment Service
Before you can access government-subsidised aged care services for the first time, you need to apply for an assessment. As part of My Aged Care, the Regional Assessment Service provides assessments in your home. This is a nationally consistent Assessment Service for older Australians requiring low, basic support at home. To find out if you need an assessment, or if you're eligible see My Aged Care or call 1800 200 422. You can also apply for an assessment online.
