Federation Council developed an Ageing Well guide to assist new and existing residents to find the services on offer for seniors living in the Council area.
The aim of the Ageing Well resource is to encourage individuals to become actively involved and participate in their local community through volunteering and recreation.
Being actively involved refers not only to physical activity but also to social, cultural and intellectual activity.
The resource provides information about local services and facilities available as well as details regarding community groups and clubs that cater to a wide range of interests and activities. To assist, maps have been included which show the locations of venues where services and activities are provided.
Within the guide a "V" icon shows agencies and organisations that offer volunteering opportunities.
You can download the guide below or pick up a copy from any Federation Council office, Library and the Corowa Visitor Information Centre.
