Get Live and Local at the 2024 Federation Ageing Well Festival
The Federation Council is inviting senior residents to get live and local at the 2024 Federation Ageing Well Festival.
Join in the fun this March, by going to a senior’s event in your local town. Bookings open Wednesday 7 February 2024 at 9:30 am. Book tickets via the links below or call the Corowa Visitor Information Centre on (02) 6033 3221.
Ageing Well = Exercise & Pamper Day
Get ready to be pampered or pamper yourself before you try a taster session of the MLHD Active Ageing Program or Yoga. Morning tea included.
Guest speaker: Exercise often to enhance your health and well-being.
Date: Tuesday 12 March @ 10 am.
Venue: Urana Waterfront Pavilion
Ageing Well = Eat Right Indoor Picnic
Roll out the gingham tablecloths, we are taking the outside inside and inviting you to the Eat Right Indoor Picnic.
Guest Speaker: Eat right to age well.
Date: Thursday 14 March @ 12 pm.
Venue: Howlong Golf Resort
Ageing Well = Be Social Paint and Sip Workshop
Unleash your creativity at the Be Social Paint & Sip Workshop. Local group Quirky Events will guide you from start to finish to create your own masterpiece. You buy the wine or your favourite beverage, and we’ll provide all the materials including lunch.

Ageing Well = Rest and Recreation Movie Day
Time to unwind in luxury and enjoy a bit of rest and relaxation as you watch a special movie screening at the R & R Movie Day. Followed by a delicious lunch.
Guest speaker: Quality sleep and making time to unwind and enjoy life is an important part of maintaining good health.

Ageing Well = Stay Sharp Trivia
Join us for an exhilarating day of brain-teasing fun, test your knowledge, and keep your brain sharp as our host takes you on a journey through a variety of mind-boggling categories. From pop culture and sports to history and local knowledge there's something to challenge every intellect! Lunch included.
Guest Speaker: Stay sharp to elder abuse, scams and senior fraud.
Date: Sunday 24 March @ 11 am
Venue: Corowa Golf Club
Make a splash at the Corowa Aquatic Centre and the Howlong Pool during the NSW Seniors Festival and receive discount of casual admission at the for residents who show their seniors card at entry. $3 entry instead of $6 at the Corowa Aquatic Centre and $2.50 entry at the Howlong Pool.
The Federation Ageing Well Festival celebrates ageing well in the Federation Council area. It recognises the important contribution older people make to our community.
The NSW Seniors Festival runs from 11 – 24 March 2024 and is about getting out and about, pick up new skills, learn what activities and services are available, join local clubs and groups in the community, meet others, and most importantly, have fun.
Please Note:
A festival for people aged over 60 living in the Federation Council Local Government Area. Companion Cards accepted.
As there is limited capacity for each event - please only register if you are a senior resident of the Federation Council and for one event only.
There are no buses this year so guests will need to make their own way to the events.
