Draft Public Art Policy

Council's draft Public Art Policy has been reviewed and endorsed by Council at its February ordinary Meeting for public exhibition for a period of 28 days.

The draft Public Art Policy outlines how Council can create high quality public spaces and respond to and reflect the communities’ vision for existing and future public art works within the area. This Policy will assist in delivering actions from the Arts and Culture Strategy.

The Policy covers the management, maintenance, commissioning and acquisition process as well as the deaccession process.

Council is inviting residents to review the draft policy and provide any feedback by 5pm, Tuesday 11 April 2023.

The draft policy is available for viewing below or at any Council office. Anyone interested in providing feedback on the policy should do so in writing, addressed to the General Manager, PO Box 77, Corowa NSW 2646 or email to council@federationcouncil.nsw.gov.au
