Internal Reporting (PID) Policy
Councils draft Internal Reporting (PID) Policy has been reviewed and endorsed by Council at its October Ordinary Meeting.
Federation Council has reviewed its internal reporting system in accordance with the Public Interest Disclosures Act 1994, and NSW Ombudsman Guidelines.
The purpose of the policy is to facilitate reporting of wrongdoing without fear of reprisal. The policy sets out who you can report wrongdoing to in Federation Council, what can be reported and how reports of wrongdoing will be dealt with by Federation Council.
The draft policy is being placed on public exhibition for a period of 28 days.
Council is inviting the community to review the draft policy and provide any feedback by 5pm Wednesday 27 November, 2019.
The draft policy is available for viewing below or at any Council office. Anyone interested in providing feedback on the policy should do so in writing, addressed to the General Manager, PO Box 77, Corowa NSW 2646 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
