Legislative Compliance Policy

Councils draft Legislative Compliance Policy has been reviewed and endorsed by Council at its October Ordinary Meeting.

The community and those working at Council have a high expectation that Council will comply with applicable legislation and Council should take all appropriate measures to ensure that expectation is met. 

The Legislative Compliance Policy outlines Council’s commitment to legislative compliance. Associated internal procedures outline the systems and processes to support staff to conduct functions in a manner that is consistent with our legislative obligations.
The draft policy is being placed on public exhibition for a period of 28 days.
 Council is inviting the community to review the draft policy and provide any feedback by 5pm Wednesday 27 November, 2019. 
 The draft policy is available for viewing below or at any Council office. Anyone interested in providing feedback on the policy should do so in writing, addressed to the General Manager, PO Box 77, Corowa NSW 2646 or email to council@federationcouncil.nsw.gov.au
