Funding & Rebate Programs
Businesses, community groups or households may be eligible for government funding to help with an environmental initiative or project. Rebates are also available for eligible customers to assist with paying their energy bills and registration and licence.
The Commonwealth and NSW Governments offer various funding programs for water, waste, energy, natural resource management and environmental education. There are a substantial number of programs on offer which can change frequently, so please view the following websites;

The NSW Government offers a number of rebates to help eligible customers with their energy bills. These include:
- Low Income Household Rebate - for customers who hold eligible concession cards that are issued by the Commonwealth Department of Human Services or the Department of Veteran Affairs.
- Family Energy Rebate - for customers who have received the Family Tax Benefit.
- Life Support Rebate - for households where residents use certain medical equipment that is necessary to sustain life.
- Medical Energy Rebate - for eligible customers who have a medically diagnosed inability to self-regulate body temperature when exposed to temperature extremes.

Appliance Replacement Program
Energy efficient appliances can assist with reducing electricity bills for households. The NSW Government offers a television and fridge replacement program for eligible households. For details see the I Am Making Smarter Choices website.
