Regenerative and Indigenous Agriculture

Federation Council invites residents to join Corowa District Landcare for an evening with Dr Charles Massy to learn about the big picture of regenerative agriculture in Australia.
Two events have been organised first in Corowa on Wednesday 2 December and in Urana on Thursday 3 December, both running 5:00pm - 9:00pm.
  • When: Wednesday 2 December, Corowa RSL Club, Time: 5:00pm - 9:00pm.
  • When: Thursday 3 December, Urana Bowling Club, Time: 5:00pm - 9:00pm.

Both events will feature a delicious 3 course meal and an amazing presentation from Dr Charles Massy, a Monaro woolgrower, a scientist and a renowned author with his classic book ‘The Australian Merino: The Story of a Nation’ and more recently ‘Call of the Reed Warbler: A New Agriculture, a New Earth’.

Corowa’s dinner will also feature an additional presentation from Chris Andrew the General Manager of Black Duck Foods, Bruce Pascoe's social enterprise that seeks to develop and commercialise Indigenous food growing processes that care for country and return economic benefits directly to Indigenous people.

Capacity for both events is limited so we would like to encourage everyone to register as soon as possible to ensure that you don’t miss out on these amazing presentations.
