Remembrance Day 2019
Published on 31 October 2019
Remembrance Day is always an important day.
Pause and remember the tradition of stopping at 11am started on the very first anniversary of Armistice Day in 1919 and has continued for over 100 years.
On Monday 11 November, at 11am, wherever you are: we ask you to observe one minute’s silence. Reflect on those who died or suffered in the Great War, and all wars and armed conflicts since.
Residents are advised of the following Remembrance Day Services being held, Monday 11 November 2019 in the Federation Council area.
