Federation Council is set to begin Road Milling and Asphalting works in Melbourne street from the Canal Bridge though to the Foodworks Carpark entrance, with the car park area to remain open during this time.
Work will commence on Wednesday 29 May through to Friday 31 May 2019. Wet weather may delay the scheduling of these works.
At times, sections of Melbourne Street will be limited to one lane of traffic which may also impact access to businesses in the area. Federation Council will work with residents and businesses to ensure there is as little inconvenience as possible.
Traffic controllers, signs and detours will be in place to maintain a safe working environment for our staff and for the safety of pedestrians and motorists in the area.
Residents are requested to keep Melbourne Street clear of parking between 7am - 5:30pm whilst the works are being undertaken.
