As an interim measure, Council will undertake the kerbside bin collection service for our northern townships.
Council staff have commenced the normal roadside bin collection this morning, Tuesday 19 December, 2023.
It will take them two days to complete the normal run as the garbage truck is rear load which requires them to manually wheel each bin up to the truck to be emptied into the compactor.
To be completed Tuesday 19 December;

- part of Urana
To be completed Wednesday 20 December;
- Urana
- Morundah
- Boree Creek
The collection may occur earlier, so residents may wish to put their bins out the night before.
If your bin hasn't been picked up by Friday morning, please contact Council to advise of your address details either by phone 02 6033 8999 or by completing our online customer request form
Council will advise ongoing collection dates and details when they are available and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
