Ageing Well Resource

The Ageing Well Resource serves a variety of purposes. It offers listings for health and social services, social and leisure activities, arts and cultural activities, local services and facilities and transport and travel times, and much more.

Federation Council has developed an Ageing Well Resource Guide to assist new and existing residents to find the services on offer for seniors living in the Council area.

The aim of the Ageing Well Resource Guide is to encourage individuals to become actively involved and participate in their local community through volunteering and recreation. It also serves as a guide to what services are available in the area to support people as their reach milestones in later life.

Council in conjunction with the Federation Council’s Ageing Well Advisory Committee hopes to reduce the information ‘gap’ between services provided, sporting groups, and community groups and the degree to which seniors know about them.

The Ageing Well Resource Guide is a free resource. Download a copy from this page or view the resource online below. A hard copy is available from any Federation Council office.
