The Federation Council area is a vibrant region for Arts, Culture and Heritage. The region's lifestyle is complemented with an active arts community offering a number of initiatives including galleries, museums, festivals and performing arts.

Federation Council embraces cultural diversity and is supportive of initiatives that promote the benefits of a culturally, linguistically and religiously diverse community.

Council is proud to support a large number of groups who provide invaluable cultural and art services to the community. Federation Council is also an active financial member of Murray Arts, one of 14 Regional Art Boards in NSW and who are a part of the Regional Arts Victoria Cultural Network.

As well as Federation Council, Murray Arts service the Local Government areas of AlburyCity and Greater Hume in NSW and the City of Wodonga, Indigo and Towong in Victoria.

Murray Arts contribute directly to the arts and cultural lifeblood of the Border region by working directly with individuals, communities and Council to assist in developing the arts and cultural life of our community.

Through Council's membership with Murray Arts, residents of Federation Council can enjoy access to a range of initiatives and benefits from Murray Arts.
