Federation Council is committed to protecting our local waterways, ecosystems and community health. In accordance with NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) regulations, we manage several key facilities under strict Environment Protection Licences.

Council operates the following sites under NSW EPA Environment Protection Licences:

Pollution Monitoring Reports
As required by law, Council conducts routine sampling at designated monitoring points to track indicators such as pH levels, Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), and total suspended solids.

Pollution Incident Response Management Plans
In alignment with our regulatory obligations, we have developed comprehensive Pollution Incident Response Management Plans (PIRMP) for each of our local water filtration plants.
These specialised plans are developed by Federation Council to guide the operation and management of any unexpected events.
