Temporary changed traffic conditions will be in place on Friday 30th November between 6:30 am and 2:00 pm as the Great Victorian Bike Ride passes through the Corowa – Mulwala area.

A 60km speed reduction along Spring Drive between Corowa and Mulwala will occur on event day.

The route for the Great Victorian Bike Ride includes:

• Wahgunyah to Corowa via the John Foord Bridge.

• Parliament Street, Corowa.

• Gray Street, Corowa.

• Federation Avenue, Corowa, Spring Drive, Corowa Road, Mulwala.

• Melbourne Street, Mulwala.

• Gulai Road, Mulwala.

• Mulwala to Yarrawonga via Weir Road, Mulwala.

Residents will still have access to their properties, however, it’s recommended that residents allow extra time or seek alternative routes if possible. However, if travel must occur in areas where there are a large number of cyclists on the road, Bicycle Network asks that you remember to:

• Obey all road rules.

• Allow for plenty of clearance when overtaking cyclists.

• Be aware of oncoming traffi c when overtaking cyclists.

• Allow ample travel time as an average cyclist will ride between 20-35 km/h.

In planning the event, Bicycle Network works hard to consider and support all road users, and any changed traffic conditions are implemented in consultation with the relevant parties.

We thank you for your cooperation and if you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact, Bicycle Network, Great Victorian Bike Ride, Kahlia Dix on (03) 8376 8888.
