Draft Procurement Policy

At Council's September ordinary meeting it endorsed the Draft Procurement Policy for public exhibition for a period of 28 days.

The revised policy incorporates critical statutory updates, modernised governance controls, restructured purchasing thresholds, expanded regional local preference boundaries, and explicit compliance with state legislation including the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (NSW) and the Unfair Contract Terms (UCT) regime.

The draft policy is currently available for the community to view and Council is seeking feedback until 5pm, Thursday 15 October, 2026.
