Come along to the Federation libraries these school holidays for a free art workshop to celebrate NAIDOC Week and to acknowledge the rich and vibrant culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Join Aunty Iris Troutman, proud Kooma/ Kamilaroi/Ngaraba woman as she leads an interactive storytelling and art workshop where you will co-create a community canvas and then make your own footprint charm. Suitable for ages 5-15. Adults welcome.

NAIDOC Week (6-13 July 2025) is an opportunity for all Australians to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The theme for this year is “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy” celebrates both the achievements of the past and the bright future ahead, emphasizing the strength and vision of the emerging generations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and honouring the legacy they will carry.
