The air pruning creates a stronger, viable root system which enables lateral roots to develop and establish structurally when transplanted. The dense root system is able to gather an immediate source of nutrients to foster vigorous growth and enable the tree to quickly establish itself when planted. The specific tree species selected for the avenue were selected as they are proven in our climate and soil types. Species selection are: Autumn Blaze (Acer x freeman) and Sawtooth Oak (Quercus acutissima). Both species will provide great colour, structure and will be long term planting for the future.
