Lake Mulwala Fishing

Make a Splash

For many visitors (and locals) to the towns and villages North of the Murray, the Murray River is the biggest drawcard.

This region is lucky enough to play host not just to the amazing Murray itself, but to a range of other rivers, lakes, creeks and swimming pools. So dive into the fun activities that make the North of the Murray region such a great place to be.

Boating

With around 175km of the iconic Murray winding through our region – not to mention our lakes and aquatic centres – it’s easy to laze through a day on a cruise boat or pontoon barbecue boat.

Fishing

If you love fishing – from a boat or from the bank – you’ll find plenty of spots where you can throw in a line and enjoy nature at its very best North of the Murray.

Swimming

On a warm day, nothing beats the simple pleasure of taking a dip in a river, lake or pool. In a landscape that’s framed by an iconic river and lake to the south, and smaller rivers, creeks and a lake to the north, there are many ways to make a splash North of the Murray.

Watersports

Lakes, rivers and creeks flow throughout our region North of the Murray, creating a perfect playground for water-based activities. With everything in easy reach, your journey is about to get a lot more fun.
