Federation Council invites community members to ‘send your community a triangle’ for the creation of festival bunting. This project will be made by the community and used by the community of Federation Council.

As we all attempt to continue to create and look forward to the events in our ‘new normal’, Council is bringing the community together with a project to increase enjoyment, community involvement and community support.

Recognising the need for community togetherness within such uncertain times, this project is aimed at reusing colourful fabrics or purchasing fabrics from local suppliers and creating bunting triangles. Cutting one triangle can assist the entire community to bring colourful event décor throughout the council area.

So where to start, you ask?

Download the bunting template and ‘how to’ instructions from this page. There are multiple ways you can create the triangles for bunting so we have readily made templates and specifications available, to ensure all creations are to the same dimensions, as the next.
