Council has recently reviewed the NSW Companion Animals Register which includes the details of micro chipped cats and dogs residing in the Federation Council area.
This review has found there are companion animals that are yet to be registered with Council as legally required.
As part of Council’s Companion Animals Compliance Program, letters are currently being issued to residents where this applies.
Our furry friends are so important in our lives and at Council, there is no better joy for our rangers to be able to return your pet home safely, however, if your pet is not registered they may not know where to return them to.
Registration can be completed at any Council office during business hours and find out further information in relation to animal registration.
