The recipients for the 2020/2021 Country Arts Support Program (CASP) have been announced by Murray Arts and Federation Council is thrilled to advise that two projects have been selected from our communities.

Congratulations are extended to the Mulwala Public School and Urana Courthouse Museum on receiving funding from the CASP program for the following projects.

Mulwala Public School P&C Inc Bpangarang Animal Garden

Mulwala Public School students will collaborate with local Elder Uncle Freddie Dowling to create a sculpture garden of plasma cut local native animals. The garden will enhance the school communities understanding of Bpangarang language and culture and provide a platform for students to experience the elements of drawing and design.

Urana Courthouse Museum Millinery Workshop

Urana Courthouse Museum is organising a Rural Women's 2-day Millinery Workshop to take place in Urana in August 2021.

Federation Council provides an annual funding contribution to Murray Arts to work with the community, promoting and supporting groups and artists to plan and develop projects, advocate for and to access funding.
