Melbourne Street Mulwala speed limit changes

Council has recently installed new speed signs in Melbourne Street, Mulwala to reflect the new speed zone of 50km/h.

These signs are installed via instruction from Roads and Maritime Services and in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards.

In NSW, built up areas have a default street speed limit of 50km/h unless sign posted otherwise. 

Speed zones on public roads are determined by NSW Roads and Maritime Services.

The community is urged to follow NSW Road Rules while using roads in NSW.

In order to promote the new speed zone and help educate the community about the new speed limits, Council will advertise the new speed limits via its webpage and Council Snippets.
