NSW Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH), Federation Council and Corowa District Landcare joined forces to launch the community-based initiative, Sloane’s Champions last Thursday in Corowa.

Approximately 21 people attended the evening which included presentations from Corowa District Landcare and the Office of Environment and Heritage.

Following the workshop, participants headed out to the Whitehead Street Wetlands where they were lucky enough to hear and identify a Froglet which enabled participants to get up close and encounter the frog.

Council is encouraging the community to continue the survey and monitoring work using the Frog ID App.
