Draft Dog Off Leash Management Plan

At Council's June ordinary meeting it endorsed the Draft Dog Off Leash Management Plan for public exhibition for a period of 28 days.

This Dog Off-Leash Management Plan is Council's commitment to establish a clear and sustainable framework for the planning and management of dog off-leash areas within its Local Government Area. The Plan aims to provide a high-quality diversity of open space that actively supports the physical exercise, socialisation, and community connection.

The draft plan is currently available for the community to view and Council is seeking feedback until 5pm, Tuesday 28 July, 2026.
