Building records going digital

Federation Council is moving its building records into the digital age! 

Council’s building records, including property files and development applications, will be undergoing digitisation over the next six months.

Files will be off site whilst being scanned, so some building enquiries and requests may take up to two weeks longer to service during this time. However, most enquiries should only take one day longer than normal.

Your patience is appreciated as we undertake this large project.

Once digitisation is completed, building record requests will be quicker and easier for staff to complete and will result in decreased waiting times for our customers.
