The NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian has released the Guide to the Child Safe Standards.

This Guide has been designed to help all people working with children understand how their roles and responsibilities can make their organisation safer.

It explains the rationale for each Standard and provides guidance on what organisations can do to implement the Child Safe Standards and measure success.

The Child Safe Standards recommended by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse provide a framework so organisations can create cultures and adopt strategies to keep children safe from harm.

You can download a copy of the Guide to the Child Safety Standards or for more information visit the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian website.
