Draft Code of Meeting Practice

At Council's September ordinary meeting it endorsed the draft Code of Meeting Practice for public exhibition for a period of 28 days from Friday 3 October to Friday 31 October, 2025.

This code applies to all meetings of councils and committees of councils of which all the members are councillors (committees of council). Council committees (usually referred to as Advisory Committees) whose members include persons other than councillors will be bound by this Code of Meeting Practice unless the council determines otherwise.

Council is inviting residents to review the draft document and provide any feedback by 5pm, Friday 14 November, 2025.
