This week, Council has released the exciting new design concepts for the $900,000 Bangerang Park Playground located in Corowa which is set to be a significant development for the Federation Council area.

The designs are inspired by the theme 'Life by the River' and colours of the River Redgum Environment.
The family friendly area will contain a free-standing all abilities play system that includes a twin tower and sky walk, sand and water play, balance and agility, spin dish, swings, sculptural pieces as well as musical items. The playground will be set within new plantings of riparian foliage that compliments the senses.

The design incorporates all abilities access and play for all ages.

The total project value includes the purchase and installation of playground equipment, storm water and electrical upgrades, paths, BBQ's, picnic settings, landscaping, stage relocation and new public toilet construction.

The project has progressed with design concepts and is now available for review by the community.

The concept designs have been informed by consultation with stakeholders and funding partners to show and discuss the designs and gather feedback. Council's Project Manager, Keith Biglin will also be meeting with our youngest residents at Corowa Pre-School to seek their feedback on the design concepts.

Council is inviting the broader community to review and provide their feedback in relation to the playground design concepts.

The concept design is currently on display at the Corowa Civic Centre, 100 Edward Street, Corowa during opening hours or the key elements can be downloaded from this page.
